Public Notary
At JNC Legal our Director Joseph Cianfrini, provides Public Notary services such as witnessing and certifying documents, and administering oaths for national and international matters. Joseph has been practicing as a lawyer for over 20 years, and has had experience with lawyers internationally assisting his clients with Italian Power of Attorney (Procura Generale and Speciale) in Italy. Fluent in Italian and Croatian, Joseph’s experience and professionalism in working with clients on international matters sets him up as Public Notary who can support his clients no matter the document, no matter the country.
A Public Notary can certify copy documents for overseas use, administer oaths for Australian and international documents, witness signatures for affidavits, statutory declarations, power of attorneys, contracts, and other documents for use in Australia and overseas. A Public Notary can also verify documents for overseas use, notes and protests bills of exchange, and prepare ships’ protests, and provide notarial certificates.
A Public Notary is required to check your identity by confirming your identity documents, such as a passport, driver’s license. They must ensure you do not suffer any legal capacity, so that you are fully aware of the process. They ensure you understand what is in the document being notarised, and in some instances may need to provide an English translation of the document.
When you come to JNC Legal to have your documents notarise, Joseph will take the time with you to explain everything, and request to view your identity document. He will take a copy of your documents once notarised. To notarise, Joseph will stamp the pages, and affix his official seal under your signature. The Department of Foreign affairs and Trade (DFAT) ensures that all Public Notary seals, and signatures are authentic. This will happen when you take your document to DFAT for Apostille Stamps or Authentication Certificates.
JNC Legal provides Public Notary services at a competitive and cost-effective price. We also provide additional services and can arrange your documents to be stamped at DFAT. If you are overseas and require Notarial services, please email us. If required, we can provide consultations over various online platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
